Nanoscience for Analytical Chemistry Application Call for Papers In the last few decades, nanoscience has outgrown its infancy. Combining unique thermal, mechanical, electronic, and biological properties, it has resulted in systems with significantly improved performance and novel applications across physics, chemistry, biology, engineering, and medical science. Analytical nanoscience as a new branch of analytical chemistry that has taken advantage of the unique merits of the nanomaterials and analytical methodology could amplify the sensitivity, improve stability of traditional materials and methods, and provide one of the most promising avenues for developments in analytical science. Up to now, nanomaterials and nanotechnology play a role in different areas of analytical chemistry with many more to come, including various detection methodologies, such as optical, electrochemical, surface plasmon resonance, and magnetic resonance technique; micro-/nanoextraction and micro-/nanoseparation; and chemical sensor and biosensor. This special issue aims at creating a multidisciplinary forum of discussion on recent advances in various applications of nanomaterial and nanotechnology in analytical chemistry. The accepted papers will show a diversity of new developments in these areas. This issue accepts high quality articles containing original research results and review articles of exceptional merit, and it will let the readers of this journal know more about the developing of analytical nanoscience. Potential topics include but are not limited to the following: Advances in applications of nanoscience in analytical chemistry Nanoscience based qualitative and quantitative analysis Nanoscience based detection methodologies Nanoscience based micro-/nanoextraction and micro-/nanoseparation techniques Nanoscience based imaging detection techniques Nanoscience based chemical sensor Nanoscience based biosensor Nanoscience based electrochemical sensor Nanoscience based analytical device Authors can submit their manuscripts through the Manuscript Tracking System at https://mts.hindawi.com/submit/journals/ijac/naca/ Manuscript Due Friday, 10 March 2017 First Round of Reviews Friday, 2 June 2017 Publication Date Friday, 28 July 2017 |
