| The doctor blade method was employed to make the photoelectrode. In a typical process, 100mg of catalysts were added into 10mL ethanol, formed a uniform suspension. As in a standard doctor blade method process, the ethanol suspension was dropped onto a piece of FTO (fluorine tin oxide) glass, while scaping the unnecessary suspension off the FTO. The film was then allowed to dry at room temperature. Finally, the film was annealed by heating in air at 80°C for 180min. |
