求问审稿意见中的几个问题～ 已有1人参与

编辑邮件给的审稿意见如下： Comments from the editors and reviewers: -Reviewer 2 - The paper describes an interesting in-situ (laboratory) method that can be used to assess the cavitation potential of a turbine's blade tip. It does this by combining acoustic data recorded from a microphone with pressure/optical data. The acoustic method used falls within the passive techniques used extensively in the detection and characterization of cavitation. Although the authors have put a great deal of effort into their work and it is well documented, there are several issues that must be addressed before publication: 1. Present a more detailed mathematical apparatus linking cavitation properties (pressure, fluid velocities, water temperature, nuclei density, etc.) to signal parameters (time, frequency, spectra, statistics, etc.). 2. Little is being said about the spectral content of recorded signal. What males a "pulse" different from a "collapse" (a zoomed detail would be welcomed)? 3. What happens to the signal for different values of the velocity? 4. Noise analysis: as the signal recorded is in the audible range, a noise analysis would be welcomed to assess the method's overall robustness. 5. The overall aspect of the paper: figure 1: a more detailed picture about the hydrofoil and microphone positioning would be welcomed. 6.How does the temperature influence the results of the test (especially the cavitation number)? 7. What is the velocity range for which cavitation inception occurs? Can you trace the The reason for which a major review is required relies on the reason that a clear acoustic criterion for cavitation inception metric cannot be seen yet in the paper. 主要有以下几个问题： 1 第7条意见中，明显审稿人漏了一些单词，这种情况需要跟编辑反映，请审稿人补全吗？还是我把审稿人前半句问题回答了就好了？ 2 第一条意见中 “mathematical apparatus”，数学仪器？不知道什么意思，百度翻译和有道均未找到这个词组搭配，不知道是不是要我建立一个数学模型解释下实验结果，这种情况需要跟编辑反映问清楚审稿人意思吗？ 如果审稿意见需要我建立数学模型，文中已经给了一个粗略的定性公式，目前很难更进一步，怎么办； 3 最后一段话“The reason for ……”的意思是不是审稿人觉得应该大修，并给出大修的原因？ 4 上面是编辑给的全部意见，是只有一个审稿人回复审稿意见了吗？还是其他审稿人意见编辑故意没有给我（或者觉得没必要）？ 5 整体看我的审稿意见文章修改后接收的希望大不大？ 第一次投稿，问题比较多，请大神指教，谢谢～～ |

| 首先本人并不是和你相同领域了，只是根据投稿经验给出个人看法给你参考：1：这个不建议再咨询编辑，不一定能问清楚只会耽误你自己的时间，建议认真回答第7个问题前半部分，根据你的经验看能不能猜测后半部分问题，如果能够猜出来最后，如果不能的话，在回复完前半部分后如实的告诉审稿人 我们收到的审稿意见是不完整的，并友好的承诺如果审稿人补全问题，我们愿意随时回答。2、这里同样不建议再去咨询编辑，只能根据你的专业背景去理解，当然最后还是找个老师或是专业内的学霸师兄师姐请教下理解清楚问题，再做回答。3、是的审稿人的意见是大修，并给出了主要原因“。。 that a clear acoustic criterion for cavitation inception metric cannot be seen yet in the paper. ”。4，既然上边提示是reviewer 2，那应该至少有个reviewer 1 .有以下几种情况，1），1的审稿意见还没有回来，等回来会发给你；2）1的审稿意见比较正面，没有大问题，编辑认为没比较给你（这种概率比较小，一般编辑会完整提供所有审稿人意见）。5，既然审稿人能够给出这些具体的意见，即使给了大修，还是接收希望很大的，当然关键还是你要好好修改，尽量按照审稿人意见认真具体的回答，切忌答非所问。即使问题不太还回答，也要耐心解释体现出诚意。good luck！！！！ |
