Dear Dr. XXX, Your manuscript has been examined by two independent experts in the field. You will find their comments below. Unfortunately this paper will not be accepted for publication in XXXX. The reason is that the originality of this work is insufficient as explained in the enclosed review reports. Accordingly, I consider your manuscript withdrawn from publication. Papers are selected on the basis of the scientific contribution, the quality and the general significance. Unfortunately your manuscript did not receive a sufficiently high priority for publication in our journal. XXX receives many papers and only those with the highest priorities can be accepted. We hope that these comments will be of use to you to submit your paper in another journal. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to consider your work. I would, however, consider a resubmission of your revised paper.
