Energy and Transport Sciences Lab (ETSL) in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Texas A&M University is seeking a highly motivated and computational modeling savvy postdoctoral research associate. The research will focus on physicochemical interactions in electrodes for electrochemical energy storage. Requirements: • Ph. D. degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Applied Physics or related fields. • The applicant should have extensive research experience in computational modeling, especially mesoscale and continuum modeling and coding. Knowledge and/or experience in electrochemistry and reactive transport phenomena in porous media is preferred. • The candidate must be creative, and possess strong problem-solving skills. The candidate should also have excellent writing and communication skills.
