[交流] J2签证成都被check经验分享已有2人参与

老公和孩子办理J2签证，在成都被check，都说J2很好过，就没太在意，还提前订了机票(9月29日)。
9月9日在成都面签，VO问去多久，老公说1个月，孩子可能呆久一点，VO又要了结婚证，还把结婚证拿走了一会，回来后就说需要check一下，收走了结婚证和2019表，老公当时也不知道check是什么，就问需要多久，VO说1周，老公就没太在意，也没说订了机票的事。回来一查就蒙圈了，check根本不可能1周，都说要3-4周，长的要2个月。多方打听被check一般都要收cv神马的，没听说收结婚证的，而且VO都会说3-4周。我们就报着1周的幻想等啊等的。果不其然，等了整20天，机票也退了。期间给大使馆发过邮件咨询了。（补充：老公是物理专业，不知道跟check有关没）

第一周发邮件询问，回复如下：
Thank you for writing to the U.S. Visa Services Desk.

In regard to your query, your case is still in process and the passport is not ready for delivery. Please track your passport at a later date, and/or wait for another notification once there is an update on the case. Also, please be advised that an email will be sent to applicants informing them that the passport is ready for pick up at CITIC office or will be delivered to your home/office address. However, all applicants should be aware visa processing time may vary due to individual circumstances and other special requirements.

Thank you for your correspondence.
A check of the records at the U.S. Consulate General in Chengdu indicates that your visa application is currently undergoing administrative processing in order to verify your qualifications.
Administrative processing, in some instances, can take several weeks to complete. We realize that any period of wait can be frustrating. Nonetheless, the U.S. Consulate General in Chengdu, like all U.S. Embassies and Consulates, must adjudicate visas in accordance with U.S. law, and, in some cases, this will involve extensive administrative processing.
While we cannot predict when the processing of your case will be completed, please be assured that the Consulate General and the Department of State are aware of your concerns and will do all we can to see that it is adjudicated as soon as possible once your qualifications have been fully verified. If additional information from you is needed, you will be notified by the consular staff in Chengdu.

第二周询问，回复如下：

Thank you for writing to the U.S. Visa Services Desk.

We understand that you wish to know your visa application status.

We would like to inform you that your application requires additional administrative processing. It can take up to 60 days for the process of administrative clearance.

Most administrative processing is resolved within 60 days of your visa interview, but the length of processing time will vary based on the circumstances of each case.

Please note that before inquiring about your visa status, you or your representative should wait at least 60 days from the date of your interview or the submission of supplemental documents, whichever is later. Please be patient.

As you were informed at the time of your interview, the administrative processing required for your case takes a minimum of three to four weeks. In many cases, it takes longer. Processing times can vary greatly from individual to individual, so we are not able to provide you with a definitive timeframe.
This additional processing is not done in Chengdu, nor does the U.S. Consulate in Chengdu have any control or discretion over these cases. We regret the delay, but assure you that we will proceed with your application as soon as we are able.

看到这样的回复就放弃了，只能等了，期间发邮件询问时还上传了预订机票的图片，9月9号面签first update， 27号second update，28号issued,机票的29号的，不过肯定来不及了，一天是寄不到了。瞬间觉得被VO骗了，我同事在北京J1当时通知过了，结果check 了6周，腹黑啊！不过总算是issued了，希望对大家有帮助。Good luck！
