Hui Wu, Lady Davis Institute, McGill University, Montreal, Canada. This position is available immediately.

Project description:
Dr Wu’s laboratory has ongoing projects to discover novel anticancer or antivirus agents by integrating structure-based drug design, medicinal chemistry and biological assays. This postdoc will involve multiple projects. The tasks of this postdoc position include: i) Identification of novel compound candidates for new targets by structure-based drug design techniques; ii) Investigation of target/ligand interactions by molecular dynamics simulations to gain insights for the design of more efficacious derivatives; and iii) Development of in-house software to repurpose FDA-approved drugs for new targets.
Qualifications:
Candidates should have Ph.D. in Structure-based Drug Design, with the Ph.D. degree obtained in 2015 or later.
