The conduction and valence bands meet each other in graphene, which is like a zero band gap semiconductor. The six points in the two dimensional Brillouin zone where the bands meet are called Dirac points.

They are called Dirac points since the linearity of the dispersion relation near these points means that the charge carriers satisfy an equation of motion that has the same form as the (relativistic) zero mass Dirac equation.
