==================================== 15 PhD student positions in Social Robotics ==================================== SOCRATES is a new Marie Skłodowska-Curie European Training Network (ETN) comprising 7 universities/research institutes and 8 non–academic organisations/companies. In total 15 Early Stage Researchers (ESRs) will be recruited as PhD students for research on various aspects of interactive social robotics aiming at eldercare. The wide range of projects covers a spectrum from technical design of hardware and interaction methodology, to personalisation, user studies, and robot ethics. Positions are open at; Umeå University, Sweden; Örebro University, Sweden; Universität Hamburg, Germany; Fraunhofer IPA, Stuttgart, Germany; CSIC Barcelona, Spain, University of the West of England, Bristol, England; Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Beer Sheva, Israel. Expected starting date is 1st of April 2017. Closing date for applications is 30th of November 2016. For more information on the positions, please refer to www.socrates-project.eu.
