请问一下这句话怎么翻译比较好，尤其是 associate 这个词： The increase in viscosity during the cooling period is indicative not of only the normal inverse relationship between the viscosity and temperature of suspensions but also of the tendency for various constitu- ents present in the hot paste (swollen granules, fragments of swollen granules, and colloidally dispersed and dissolved starch molecules) to associate or retrograde as the temperature of the paste decreases. |
