[交流] 美国北达科他州立大学招收工业工程(Industrial Engineering)博士生，全奖

The Department of Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering (IME) at North Dakota State University (NDSU) is seeking one or two Ph.D. students starting from Spring or Fall 2017, advised by Dr. Yiwen Xu (https://www.ndsu.edu/ime/people/faculty_and_staff/yiwen_xu/). Successful applicants will be provided with a teaching or research assistant position with tuition waiver, health benefits and competitive stipend.

Requirements:

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research or related discipline such as (Applied) Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, etc.
• GRE general test and English proficiency test such as TOEFL and IELTS.

Candidates with solid background in linear/nonlinear programming, integer programming, stochastic programming, combinatorics, probabilistic models, statistics or reliability are especially encouraged to apply. Interested candidates please send your resume to Dr. Yiwen Xu (yiwen.xu@ndsu.edu).

 NDSU is a top 200 research university in the United States and the flag university in the state of North Dakota. It is listed in the National Science Foundation’s top 100 in several areas, including agricultural sciences, social sciences, physical sciences, chemistry, psychology and computer sciences. NDSU's research expenditures ranks 127th out of 912 research universities in the U.S. The Carnegie Commission on Higher Education classifies NDSU in the Research University/Very High Research Activity category, to which 108 research-intensive universities in the United States belong. NDSU is the first and only institution in North Dakota to receive this categorization.
