There's plenty of room at the bottom Author: Richard Feynman Date: 29/04/2008 Introduction: This article is based on the first ever lecture on nanotechnology with the same title, which was given by physicist Richard Feynman at an American Physical Society meeting at Caltech on December 29 in 1959. In his ground-breaking lecture, Feynman considered the possibility of direct manipulation of individual atoms as a more powerful form of synthetic chemistry than those used at the time.
