Thank you for your submission to Synthetic Communications. Your above referenced manuscript, entitled "Synthesis of Combretastatin A-4 Analogues of benzofurans" has been unsubmitted from Synthetic Communications because the format of the submission is not in accordance with the Journal Instructions for Authors. Please re-format your manuscript and submit again.

Full experimental detail for general or sample experiments only, or for key experiments, must appear in an experimental section of the manuscript, including appropriate characterization data for sample and key experiments, and appropriate literature citations for known compounds (see below). The experimental section should appear after a full discussion section.

Only sample or general experiments should appear in the experimental section, with data. All other experiments, with data, should be moved to Supplementary Information as a separate file. Melting points should be moved from tables of results to the appropriate experimental detail.

Full experimental detail for ALL experiments must be provided in supplementary information, with spectroscopic and characterization data. Characterization data must include HRMS (accurate to 0.003 mass units) and/or elemental analysis (accurate to 0.4%) reported individually for ALL new compounds and ALL known compounds where such characterization data is not reported; found and calculated data must be provided.

Literature references to adequate characterization data (not only to melting points) must be supplied for known compounds, with the relevant experimental data.

Supplementary information must also include copies of 1H and 13C NMR spectra for all new compounds, plus hplc traces, X-ray data, optical rotation data, results of biological testing, and other data as appropriate for key compounds.

You must indicate the availability of supplementary material within your article by adding a paragraph prior to the article’s reference section, e.g., ‘Supporting Information: Full experimental detail, 1H and 13C NMR spectra, HPLC traces. This material can be found via the “Supplementary Content” section of this article’s webpage.’
