| 由于混合碱效应使得玻璃结构的物理化学性质优于单碱玻璃，玻璃内部结构在混合效应的影响之下变得更加紧密，而稀土离子在紧密的[SiO4]与[AlO4]的骨架中难以移动而只能分布在四面体的间隙中，所以分布更加均匀。 混合碱效应：mixed aliaik effect. |

| The use of mixed alkalies resulted in a denser glass structure with superior physical properties than that of the use of mono (or single) alkali, in which rare earth ions could not migrate into the densely packed SiO4-AlO4 scaffold , rather they perferred to locate in space among tetrahedron crystals, thus evenly distributed throughout the glass. |
