Applications are invited for a Samsung FTF-funded postdoctoral position in polymer/organic chemistry at the Department of Chemistry and Nano Science of Ewha University (Seoul, Korea). Projects will involve the synthesis of amphiphilic conjugated block copolymers, and the study of the influence of their self-assembly at polar interfaces on their electrical properties. Experience in the multi-step synthesis of aromatic monomers, organometallic and/or transition-metal-catalyzed polymerization techniques, and the handling of oxygen- or moisture-sensitive compounds is highly desirable. Duration: Initial 1 year contract with yearly renewal.
