项目简介：
The aim of the project is to address the growing concern among anchor manufacturers that the increasing use of anchors in early age concrete without adequate knowledge may cause accidents and failures. There is an increasing demand to use anchors in early age concrete to increase productivity. This research proposal has been developed with support from five of the leading manufacturers’ anchors in Australia and internationally to address a growing construction industry need for safe and reliable anchoring systems in early age concretes. The project will make special focus on supplementary cementitous materials (SCM, e.g. slag, fly ash) on anchor capacity at early ages.

The research will involve experimental work in the Smart Structures Laboratory at Swinburne University of Technology (https://www.swinburne.edu.au/fse ... ctures-laboratory/) which has world class facilities for structural research and testing. The experiments will involves pull out tests using concretes containing SCMs and various type of anchors. The research will also involve numerical modelling including the use of Finite Element Modelling using software such as ATENA.

申请者必须满足以下条件：
英语要求:
(i)       IELTS (Academic): Overall IELTS band no less than 6.5 and no individual band below 6.0; or
(ii)    TOEFL (IBT):  Overall band 79, individual band no less than 18.

学业要求：
(i)       Master degree in civil engineering, material science
(ii)    Outstanding academic records
曾经发表过SCI论文的同学优先。
