【招聘】美国范德堡大学医学院博后，有兴趣的过来看一下

各位好， 本人的PI需招聘博后一枚，具体信息如下： 一、学校介绍（来源度娘） 范德堡大学（Vanderbilt University），简称Vandy，又名范德比尔特大学，由美国铁路大亨科尼利尔斯·范德比尔特捐建，是位于美国田纳西州纳什维尔市的一所著名的国家级私立研究型大学。学校创立于1873年，是位于美国南方的顶级名校，也是世界一流大学之一，属于25所新常春藤盟校。2016年范德堡大学位列US News全美大学综合排名第15位，仅次于杜克大学位居南方第2，以其出色的教育质量和较强的科研实力，享有“南方哈佛”（Harvard of the South）的美誉。 作为一所精英学府，范德堡大学拥有11个学院，并在商、法、医、教四大学术领域稳居北美一流行列，享有南方第一贵族名门的盛誉。教育学院全美顶尖。法学院为美国法学院中的老牌劲旅，依赖校友会与一些显赫的商业财团和华尔街最有权势的律师事务所保持密切的关系。医学院为中田纳西唯一的一级外伤中心。杰出校友包括了2名美国副总统，7名诺贝尔奖得主，25名罗德学者，以及多名普利策奖得主，菲尔兹奖得主，奥斯卡奖得主等。 二、PI简介 Young-Jae received his M.D. at Seoul National University of College of Medicine in South Korea. He completed his Ph.D work at Albert Einstein College of Medicine under the supervision of Dr. Rick Kitsis. Following Internal Medicine Residency training, he entered Physician-Scientist Training pathway in Cardiovascular Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center. After clinical cardiology training, he joined Dr. Eric Olson’s lab where he studied cardiac reprogramming. He is a faculty member in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine and Department of Cell and Developmental Biology and Vanderbilt Center for Stem Cell Biology at Vanderbilt. 三、博后职位介绍 A postdoctoral position is available for a highly motivated Ph.D. who will dedicate his/her postdoctoral study in the field of “heart regeneration”, “stem cell biology” and “reprogramming”. The projects involve in generating new heart muscle cells using reprogramming techniques in vitro and in vivo and investigating mechanistic basis of cardiac cell fate specification. Expertise in molecular cloning and genome editing is required.
