The PhD Project deals with the implant infection which is the major complication of the use of biomaterials implants. Qualifications and Skills: The successful candidate for the this PhD position will have the following qualifications: A high honors masters degree in Materials Chemistry, Biology, Biomedical Sciences, Pharmacy or related areas Very good knowledge of written and spoken English and very good communication skills Enthusiasm for research in an interdisciplinary setting and internationals environment Good communication skills to be able to act as an excellent team player The previous preference experience or particular interest in Microbiology, the cell culture systems, the Cell Biology and / or the with nanoparticles would be considered an asset, also previous preference experience with biocompatibility of Coatings, immunoblotting and proteomic to study cellular processes.
