Graduate Research Assistant Positions at University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa

Graduate Research Assistant Positions Available Graduate research assistant positions are available for highly qualified and self-motivated candidates. Projects include In situ high resolution transmission electron microscopy; Battery materials; Synthesis of shape/size-controlled oxides (transition and lanthanide metal oxides) nanopowders, characterization of oxide-supported metal nanocatalysts, and mechanistic understanding of metal-oxide support interactions on the low-temperature catalytic activity of materials. Candidates with a Master degree and prior training/experience in heterogeneous catalysts/battery materials/transmission electron microscopy are preferred. TOEFL and GRE scores are both required. Expected starting time: Fall 2016 or Spring 2017.
