[交流] Planning a Vacation

A successful vacation, whether a short pleasure trip or a long journey abroad, involves careful planning and preparations. In the planning stage, things that need to be considered will include how long the vacation will take, where you will go, what you will see and do, how you will travel from point A to point B to point C, and where you will stay for the nights. You will also think about the amount of money to spend on the trip, luggage to take, special activities to have, safety issues, and Plan B in case of an emergency.

Camping is an outdoor recreational activity. The participants, known as campers, leave urban areas, their home region, or civilization and enjoy nature while spending one or several nights at a campsite. Camping may involve the use of a tent, a primitive structure, or no shelter at all. The following are some popular forms of camping:
 Backpacking: Backpackers hike across an area and camp at remote locations.
 Bicycle camping: A bicycle tour combined with camping. The bicycle is used to carry the gear and as the primary means of transportation, allowing greater distances to be covered than backpacking.
 Car camping: Campers, when traveling through the countryside, camp close to their cars or in their recreational vehicles.
 Social camping: Many campers enjoy socializing with small groups of fellow campers. This allows families to form small closely-knit societies, and children to form lasting friendships.
