Antimicrobial graphene based coatings for biomaterial implants The project deals with the implant infection which is the major complication of the use of biomaterials implants. Qualifications and skills: The successful candidate for this PhD position will have the following qualifications: A high honors masters' degree in Material Chemistry, Biology, Biomedical Sciences, Pharmacy or related areas Very good knowledge of written and spoken English and very good communication skills Enthusiasm for research in an interdisciplinary setting and international environment Good communication skills to be able to act as an excellent team player Previous experience or particular interest in microbiology, cell culture systems, cell biology and/or with nanoparticles would be considered an asset, as also previous experience with biocompatibility of coatings, immunoblotting and proteomic to study cellular processes.
