新加坡 南洋理工大学 Research Associate

Description The School of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Nanyang Technological University is seeking for a potential candidate for the above research position. The Research Associate will work on a project to conduct the research on Real-time ground settlement monitoring using fiber optic sensors. The roles of this position includes: • Integrate suitable electronic circuits to develop a compact and cost effective FBG interrogation system. • Develop circuitry to transmit the sensors’ data wirelessly. • Develop data processing software for such wireless fibre sensors. • Write project reports and scientific research papers for publication, attend and present the research outcomes in relevant meetings/conferences. Job Requirements • Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or related field • Knowledge of electronics and expert in making electronic circuits • Experience in WiFi networking • Expert in developing data processing software • Knowledge of optical fibre sensors, especially FBG is highly preferred • Publication track record is an advantage • Proficiency in English For further information, please contact Prof Yang Yaowen via cywyang@ntu.edu.sg |
