The quantum yield can be described as follows: Φd= Φs *Fd/Fs*As/Ad*nd^2/ns^2 Where Φs is the fluorescence quantum yield of the standard (rhodamine B in ethanol, 0.65, 25°C), Fd and Fs are the integral area of fluorescence intensity of the sample and the standard at the same excitation wavelength, respectively; Ad and As are the absorbance of the sample and the standard at the defined excitation wavelength, respectively; ns and nd are the refractive index at 25°C of the solvent of standard and the sample, respectively. |
