The TRUE lab (http://truelab.ou.edu/) invites applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow position in photoacoustic nanoscopy. We are located at School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at The University of Oklahoma. We work closely with The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, and with the Stanford Medical School at Stanford University. We offer an exceptional environment for scholars who want to further their skills, and many opportunities to engage in cutting-edge research. Candidates who have a strong background in super-resolution microscopy, and pump-probe microscopy are highly encouraged to apply. Your postdoc experience should be a crucial step that prepares you towards your future independent career, and we will make our best effort to pave your way, to be highly productive doing science, to offer you career advice, to give you various opportunities such as supervising students, getting involved in grant writing and teaching, and helping you build your own reputation in the scientific community. The TRUE lab invites applications for multiple Postdoctoral Fellow positions in Biomedical Imaging and Non-destructive testing (NDT). The TRUE (Theranostics with Radiation-induced Ultrasound Emission) lab focuses on the development of ultrasound-based imaging techniques with new contrast mechanisms including X-ray acoustic computed tomography (XACT), Electric-induced acoustic tomography (EAT), and other radiation induced acoustic emission for imaging. Desirable applicants for the Postdoc position should have a Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related field. Candidates who have a strong background in optics, X-rays, pulsed electric field, proton radiation or ultrasonics are highly encouraged to apply.
