my study is about coating multiple layers on a glass substrate.if i can understand the passage well ,that is a 3Dmaterial.but the passage tells us a semiconductor ,made of the elements tin and oxygen, or tin monoxide (SnO), is a layer of 2D material.A new reasearch.and i want to know  what is the lesson?  about the new research or the physics?

Most basic research are funded by industry and kept strictly proprietary, so reading about them may or may not be immediately useful to someone like yourself

Moore's Law about computing power doubling every so many years has held for decades  SnO has the potential to be  More than Moore  (MtM)  The same University of Utah is also strong in microfluidics research
