postdoctoral position in materials science /physics / chemistry (full time) Reg.‐Nr .: 85/2016 Starting date is 1. August 2016 or later. Qualification requirements: • Degree and PhD in materials science or physics or chemistry with outstanding success • Experience, skills and knowledge in one or more of the following research topics: polymers, carbon nanotubes, graphene, design, production and characterization of nanocomposites, block copolymers, polymer blends, polymer nanoparticles for drug delivery, structuring of materials, materials interfaces, microscopy, spectroscopy • Excellent oral and written communication skills in German and / or English are essential • The ability to present complex scientific subjects coherent orally and in writing with high quality • Scientific excellence and independence In addition to conducting competitive research on the topics stated above the successful candidate is expected to teach within the university degree program Materials Science (lectures, seminars, laboratories) for BSc, MSc and PhD candidates. The position offers ample opportunities for further qualification and/or a habilitation. This full time position is initially limited to 3 years and will be paid in accordance with the German Public Services Regulations TV‐L up to E 13. Severely disabled applicants will be preferred if equally qualified.
