本研究所地处美国最大的休斯顿医学中心，主要从事表观基因学在白血病和淋巴瘤的发病和病程发展中的作用，同时开发新药进行表观遗传靶向治疗，待遇从优。
1.    具有免疫，造血干细胞，实验血液学方面研究训练，并获相关专业博士或以上学位(博士即将毕业或博士毕业三年内优先)；
2.    能够熟练培养免疫细胞 (比如T细胞，B 细胞和造血干细胞)，进行免疫细胞鉴定、定向分化、流式分析检测等相关免疫细胞研究技术；
3.    具有基本生物操作技术：分子生物克隆，包被病毒，细胞培养等工作经验；
4.    具有一定的小鼠工作经验和/或二代测序经验者优先；
5.    具有良好的英语口语和书面表达能力，可以熟练阅读英文科技文献；
6.    具备一定的独立工作能力和团队合作能力。

Postdoctoral research position in cancerepigenetics
The Texas A&M Health ScienceCenter Institute of Biosciences and Technology (IBT) is an internationallyrecognized leader in biomedical and health science research located in theTexas Medical Center in Houston, TX, with existing strengths in Infectious Disease,Epigenetics, Cancer/Stem Cell Biology, and Environmental Health. Weare seeking highly skilled and motivated candidates for a postdoctoral researchassociate position in cancer epigenetics and cancer immunotherapy in thelaboratory of Dr. Yun Huang, Center for Epigenetics and Disease Prevention.
Thisposition is focused on dissecting the role of novel epigenetic regulators in leukemiaand lymphoma, and developing new therapies to treat blood cancer by targetingaberrant epigenetic regulators. This position provides broad training and ahighly collaborative and stimulating environment for both basic andtranslational cancer epigenetic research.
Qualifications:
·       Ph.D.in biology or related science is required. A strong background in immunology,hematology, or tumor immunology is preferred.
·       Hands-onexperience with tissue culture of cell lines, isolation and culture of bloodcells (including but not limited to hematopoietic stem cells and T or Blymphocytes).
·       Experiencein retro- or lenti-virus generation, cell transfection/transduction methods.
·       Familiarwith multicolor flow cytometry instrument use and data analysis.
·       Experiencein immunology techniques including ELISA, colony forming unit (CFU) assay,flow-based cytokine determination, cellular proliferation and cytotoxicityassays.
·       Experiencewith standard epigenomic studies, such as DNA methylation analysis, ChIPanalysis. Experience with high-throughput sequencing technology is preferred.
·       Experiencewith standard mouse handling is preferred.
·       Familiaritywith standard molecular biology methods (western blot, qPCR, cloning,protein/DNA biochemistry).
·       Familiarwith genome editing technologies is desirable.

Thisposition will provide a unique and multidisciplinary exposure of cancerepigenetics, hematopoietic stem cell development and disease transformation,cancer immunology.
