In principle, variables are to be presented in italics. I found that two similar papers by the authors had been respectively published in Applied Mechanics and Materials, Vol. ****, pp. ***-***, “*******”, 201*-0*-*0 and in *********, Vol. *, pp. **-***, “***********, 201*-*2. Thus, I recommend the authors cite the two papers and illustrate the different originalities and contributions of these papers in the resubmitted paper. |
