A revised version of your manuscript that takes into account the comments of the referee(s) will be reconsidered for publication and you will note that there are some distinct reservations regarding your contribution.
Please note that submitting a revision of your manuscript does not guarantee eventual acceptance, and that your revision may be subject to re-review by the referee(s) before a decision is rendered.
You can upload your revised manuscript and submit it through your Author Center. Log into https://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/pc and enter your Author Center, where you will find your manuscript title listed under "Manuscripts with Decisions".
When submitting your revised manuscript, you will be able to respond to the comments made by the referee(s) in the space provided. You can use this space to document any changes you make to the original manuscript.
IMPORTANT: We have your original files. When submitting (uploading) your revised manuscript, please delete the file(s) that you wish to replace and then upload the revised file(s).
Once again, thank you for submitting your manuscript to Polymer Composites and I look forward to receiving your revision.Referee(s)' Comments to Author:

1. "Crystallinity of the specimen was characterized from melting enthalpy and the crystal absorption enthalpy (△Hc). In Table 1, comparing the △Hc values of unaged LGF/PA10T samples and that of the LGF/PA10T samples aged for 10, 20 days it can be observed that crystallinity gradually reduced with increase in the aging time." -----Please indicate clearly how did the crystallinity was characterized from melting enthalpy and the crystal absorption enthalpy (△Hc). Does the crystallinity could be observed from △Hc (Table 1)? Could the variation trend of crystallinity be indicated by △Hc directly?
2. When the authors describe Figure 2 (b), the relationship between multiple melting peaks of aged samples and the aging process should be presented clearly.
3. "... factors related to melting can give rise to the formation of a polymer crystal..." The factors related to melting are not the direct reasons that give rise to the formation of a polymer crystal formation of a polymer crystal with different thickness and degree of perfection. Instead, the cooling process and the component of the melt would directly affect the polymer crystal.
4. "Hence, it is suggested that the crystalline grains of different size were formed because of slow movement speed of the PA10T molecular chains, and consequently
the relaxation time was increased." In whose crystallization process does the forming of "crystalline grains of different size" occurs? Unaged or aged samples? Besides, is the difference between the crystalline grains different size only?
5. "The SEM micrographs can provide an intuitive grasp of the LGF/PA10T samples after 0 and 50 days of thermal-oxidation aging at 240℃, as shown in Fig. 3." Before the microstructures of the samples were observed, had the surfaces of the samples been treated by some ways?
6. "the carbon layer will increase at 240℃ which plays a critical role in the aging process." " a critical role in the aging process " refers to what? What's the relationship between the carbon layer and the phenomenon observed from the SEM images. The authors should describe these clearly.

1) Misspellings in the manuscripts should be review and revised.
2) The blending process of long glass fiber and polyamide matrix should be explained more detailed.
3) “Microscopy Investigation” should be given as last topic of “Results and Discussion” section and associated with every characterization test result.
4) Why glass transition temperature values of samples did not investigate in the DSC analysis? These values should be also obtained by DSC analysis and Tg values which were obtained DSC and DMA analyses should be compared. |
