Ethical Review Report on Medical Research Some faculty at our university plan to carry out the scientific research titled “XXXXXXX”. The Medical Ethics Committee of our university has reviewed the medical ethical issues related to the project. Main content regarding human body research: The project requires collection of human tissue for primary cell culture. The project will not entail any extra medical expenses and pain to the patients from whom the tissue has been collected. The research materials and research results are intended for scientific research. The research involves no conflict of interest. Ethical Review Opinion: Based on the examination by the Ethics Committee of our university, the research fully considers the principles of safety and fairness in its experimental design and plan and will cause no harm or risks to the people who provide their tissue. The patients will be enrolled based on the principle of voluntary informed consent with their rights, interests and privacy protected to the greatest extent possible. No conflict of interest exists between the research content and research result. Conclusion: In the research, the patients’ rights and interests will be fully protected and not exposed to potential risks. It is approved that the work of the project proceeds as planned. |
