Research Officer/Assistant Research Officer Several immediate vacancies for Research Officer/Assistant Research Officer are available in Molecular Population Genetics Group. The persons will work on the following projects: 1. Molecular breeding of fish 2. Molecular breeding of Jatropha curcas 3. Molecular breeding of oil palm Responsibilities: 1. Developing DNA markers. 2. Constructing cDNA and BAC libraries 3. Cloning candidate genes 3. Conducting linkage and QTL mapping. 4. Conducting association studies. Requirements: - BSc/MSc with at least three years of full-time lab experience or a fresh PhD graduate - Highly-motivated person who is able to work independently in a small team. - Lab experience in molecular biology are essential. The salary given is commensurable to educational qualifications and working experience of the candidates.
