Three postdoc fellow positions available

Three postdoctoral positions in computational biology / bioinformatics and machine learning are available: Position 1: For a joint project between Tsinghua University in China and King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) in Saudi Arabia. This project is led jointly by Prof. Jianyang Zeng at Tsinghua (https://iiis.tsinghua.edu.cn/zengjy/) and Prof. Xin Gao at KAUST (https://sfb.kaust.edu.sa). The funding is available for three years, with year 1&3 mainly based at Tsinghua and year 2 mainly based at KAUST. The candidate should hold a PhD in computer science or a related field, with expertise in computational biology, and strong programming skills. Candidates with expertise in one of the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply: protein structure prediction, biomedical imaging processing, cryo-EM and deep learning. This position will offer plenty of opportunity to work with interdisciplinary groups at Tsinghua and KAUST. Regular communications/travels between Tsinghua and KAUST are a part of the duty. We offer a very competitive compensation package. For year 2, KAUST offers very generous salary, as well as free housing, free health insurance for the candidate’s family, and moving allowance. The candidate should hold a PhD in computer science or a related field, with expertise in computational biology / bioinformatics, and strong programming skills. Candidates with expertise in one of the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply: protein structure prediction, protein function prediction, systems biology, or synthetic biology. We offer highly competitive salary, free housing, free health insurance for the candidate’s family, annual leave tickets to China, and moving allowance. Candidates with expertise in one of the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply: probabilistic graphical models, deep learning, structured prediction, optimization, and computer vision.
