The Advanced Technology Innovation Center for Future Education of Beijing Normal University is an
international and innovative platform with a high level supported by the Beijing government and serves
the construction of national science and technology innovation center as well as the restructuring of
advanced technology industry in Beijing. The core mission of the center is to research and develop a smart
education platform for public service based on big data in an effort to satisfy the needs of teachers and
students in the field of basic education in Beijing, provide innovative educational application service to teachers
and students, and explore new forms of education business and governance patterns in the era of mobile internet.

To promote the transition of Beijing educational public service from digitization to intelligence and support the
establishment of a new model of Beijing (World City) educational public service, we are now opening a position to
both China and the world.

Position Title: Big Data Researchers

Number of Recruitment: 1-2

Job Description

1. Build big data analysis environment for education and technical framework.
2. The analysis of big data demands and requirements for education, data collection, storage, integration and pre-treatment, the use of big data analysis algorithm to build analysis model and the visual display of the analyzed results.
3. To provide data support and decision-making data analysis for educational decision-making and support the data analysis of decision-making of the Department of Education, schools, teachers, parents and students.

Job Requirements

1. familiar with statistics and data mining, machine learning, artificial intelligence, particularly association analysis,
classification prediction, clustering analysis, regression analysis, time series analysis and other commonly used analysis
methods. Familiar with R, SAS, SPSS, Python, and other related software and languages.
2. familiar with the traditional relational database, data warehouse technology, data pre-processing, data integration, NoSQL database technology, in-memory database technology, Hadoop (including HDFS, Map-Reduce, HBase, HIVE, etc.), Mahout and Spark cluster related technologies.

3. familiar with JAVA /C/C ++ programming with parallel programming experience, able to use the Map-Reduce parallel computing framework Hadoop, generic MPI parallel computing framework for the design of parallel data analysis
algorithms and procedures

4. familiar divide and conquer, dynamic programming and backtracking algorithms design.

5. familiar with the data visualization technology and designed data visualization solutions and applied in practice.

6. master's or higher degree in mathematics, statistics, computer, educational technology and other related professionals.
7. Those who have successful big data analysis cases are preferred.

Salary

All candidates who are officially employed will work at the Advanced Technology Innovation Center for Future Education of Beijing Normal University;

A 3-5year labor contract will be offered ;

An attractive annual pay plus performance bonus will be offered;

Pay negotiable;
