| Effects of feeding different available nitrogen sources (corn steep liquor, yeast extract, and ammonium sulphate) in pelluromin biosynthesis phase on the pelluromin A (Pr-A) production were investigated in 50 l fermenter. Under different rate of feeding corn steep liquor and yeast extract from 80 h, the cell growth had no obviously increased, and the biosynthesis had no been inhibited. The Pr-A production was enhanced compared with the control, while the biotransformation from pelluromin C (Pr-C) to Pr-A had no increased. When ammonium sulphate was fed at high feeding rate of 0.04 g/l per hour from 80 h, the cell density kept constant increase and the pelluromin biosynthesis had no negative effect. The maximal Pr-A production was 7953 U/ml at 184 h, which was increased by 17.9% with respect to the control. |
