投了New Pytologist, 两天就被拒了，心情悲凉， 帮我分析下。 已有7人参与

 Thank you very much for your submission to New Phytologist. Your manuscript addresses an interesting topic area and your study appears to be well done. However, we expect that the work should significantly advance the field; technically sound papers that provide no insights into mechanisms are not generally accepted and papers in the journal should focus on issues of broad importance and address a clear hypothesis. While this paper will be of interest to those working in this field, without further novel insight into plant mechanisms and processes, the paper will have limited broader interest to the wide readership of the journal. We suggest that this manuscript would be more suitable for a more specialised journal and advise that the text requires editing for English expression. As a result of this assessment, I regret to inform you that I cannot accept this for publication in New Phytologist. 不知投Plant physiology 有没有戏?， 怎么完善啊？ |

挺巧啊，我和你的情况一样一样的，也是投NP几天被拒，下面是我的批语中的一段， The Editor advises you to consider carefully your use of the term "senescence", to have the text edited for English expression and then to submit the paper to a more specialised journal such as Plant and Cell Physiology or maybe Journal of Experimental Botany. As a result of this assessment, I regret to inform you that I cannot accept this manuscript for publication in New Phytologist. 呵呵，和你的挺像吧，但是我没听他的推荐，改投了PP，小修，现在返回小修结果了，20多天还没消息！ |
