Michigan Technological University招3个月的短期访问博士生

Research position with Fellowship in summer semester I will have approximately 3 months of funding for a high quality PhD student in this summer semester. I expect that the student is already a PhD student in a university in China. I am NOT promising a TA slot. But if the situation arose there might be a possibility of continued funding here, but again that is not promised and not even expected, it is just not out of the realm of possibility. This is an opportunity for a PhD student who wants to have a short-term research experience abroad. If anyone is interested in this position, please contact Professor Patricia A. Heiden via email (paheiden@mtu.edu) at Department of Chemistry, Michigan Technological University. Requirements: 1. The PhD student must be self-directing, have initiative, good synthetic background, and with good English skills. 2. Ideally the person will have experience with radical and condensation chemistry. Polymer synthetic experience is not required but certainly an advantage. 3. Specifically what I am looking for is someone who can synthesize some new initiators, analyze stability over time, and I also want experience with basic characterizations.
