看文献是有些英语单词翻译理解不了求助

a surface plasmon is a quantum of an electron concentration wave that can exist at a dielectric–metal interface. The surface plasmon propagates along the metal surface and decays exponentially into both the media. Thus, the excited surface plasmons from the Ag surface can be transferred to the top metal (Au) surface through the dielectric layer. The thinner the dielectric layer is, the less the surface plasmon decays. Accordingly, the conduction electrons on the Au surface are further localized. |
