| 审稿人的问题Figure 6 provides a good example of the need for more sophisticated kinetic analysis when comparing the relative rates of CO and CO2 formation. CO2 formation has relatively lower barriers than CO formation, however, all states leading to CO formation lie at significantly lower energy than those on the CO2 path. This would suggest a surface under reaction conditions that is highly covered in CO or CO path intermediates, and relative rates are affected by both barriers and species coverages.
