post-doc or visiting scholar positions available at OHSU - biology 已有3人参与

Dr. Baotong Xie is a new faculty in the Department of Integrative Biosciences at Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU). His research area is the retina development, using Drosophila as a model. Specifically, the current studies is focused on undersanding how microRNAs, the Hippos signaling pathway and conserved transcription factors are integrated into regulatory networks to ensure neuronal fate specification. OHSU is a top ranked medical school (US news #31 for research and #5 for Primary Care) and is located in Portland, Oregon, a beautiful city. 新的faculty, 学校里的个人主页还没建好。课题很有意思, 研究成果曾在Science发表。有些新的结果最近会发表。实验室成员的贡献会在发表的文章里充分体现。现在PI自己也做一些实验，会对新人在开始阶段提供最大的帮助，这将有助于课题的进展和文章的发表。另外会根据申请人自己对职业的规划和未来的设想，提供合适的培养环境和帮助。欢迎有意做博士后或公派访问学者的同学申请, 要求生物学相关专业，有责任心和对科研严谨的态度。具体要求和信息可直接联系 Baotong Xie, email: xieb@ohsu.edu. |
