J1 保险费用问题 ？ 已有4人参与

各位虫友，老公要去美国做博后，我陪读。最近在研究保险，学校有个horizon EPO plan，其中 health insurance有几个级别，cover family的最高是145.8刀/月。 请问这个值得买吗？价格贵不贵？我们是已经结婚，准备去美国生baby，不知道能不能cover 生育相关的费用。一般情况下health insurance都指哪些内容？目前在网站上没看到，估计得给小秘要details. |

学校网站提到美国对J1签证的scholar保险要求中有一条是： or Part of a health benefits program offered on a group basis to employees or enrolled students by a designated sponsor;——可不可以理解为参加学校的保险项目即可？ 另外：学校的benefit页面写的两段话如下： The Horizon plan provides the advantages of in-network and out-of-network benefits in the Core and Plus plans, or in-network only benefits in the EPO plan. Included in the Horizon Plan are certain Vision Care benefits. A separate Vision Plan is available through VSP at www.vsp.com. Prescription drug benefits are provided through Express Scripts. Employees do contribute to a percentage of the premium cost for single and dependent coverage in both plans. The percentage of the premium cost is based on salary. A schedule of health care insurance premiums is available in the following pdf: Health Insurance Costs. 附件中是给了三个计划horizon EPO Plan annual salary level（直接根据对象分投保费用）family是 148刀/月，horizon core plan annual salary level（根据年薪确定投保费用）年薪四万的family保险是312刀/月。 我们该怎么理解呢~非常感谢！ |
