Fellowship PhD Position at Texas Tech University (Texas, USA)

PhD opening position: Texas Tech University, Texas, USA One Ph.D. position (4-year-fellowship) is available (starting 2016 Fall) within the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Texas Tech University (Texas, USA). The successful candidate will conduct research on Navigation and Control of Unmanned Air Vehicles, or Renewable Energy and Smart Grid Integration. Requirements: - M. S degree in ME, EE, or related areas; - Has TOEFL/IELTS and GRE scores; - Experienced in MATLAB/SIMULINK; - Excellent mathematical skills; - Hands on experience in experimental testing; - Dedicated, hardworking, and passion to learn more; - Creative and capable of independent study and thinking. Required documents: - Detailed CV (including a list of publications, if any); - A cover letter to indicate that how you meet ALL the essential criteria with details/examples/evidence, and your career goal; - A research statement describing your past achievement and your research plan.
