Welcome to the 2016 IEEE Chinese Guidance, Navigation and Control Conference The 2016 IEEE Chinese Guidance, Navigation and Control Conference (IEEE CGNCC2016) [2016 IEEE中国制导、导航与控制学术会议] will be held in Nanjing (南京), a famous historical and cultural city on August 12-14, 2016, following the successes of previous six events. Nanjing sites in the prosperous plain of the lower reaches of the Yangtze River in china. The city surrounded by mountains and rivers, is a wonderful place with the characteristic of both magnificent and elegant scene. IEEE Chinese Guidance, Navigation and Control Conference (IEEE CGNCC) is a biennial event, which is also one of the leading events in Guidance, Navigation and Control(GNC). IEEE CGNCC2016 is sponsored by Technical Committee on Guidance, Navigation and Control (TCGNC), Chinese Society of Aeronautics and Astronautics (CSAA), Science and Technology on Aircraft Control Laboratory and IEEE Control Systems Chapter, Nanjing, China. It is technical co-sponsored by Technical Committee on Control Theory (TCCT), Chinese Association of Automation (CAA). IEEE CGNCC2016 is organized by Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA), CASC Science and Technology on Aerospace Intelligent Control Laboratory , Beihang University (BUAA), and AVIC Xi'an Flight Automatic Control Research Institute. It provides a forum for scientists and engineers over the world to present their new theoretical results and techniques in the field of GNC. The conference consists of pre-conference tutorials, plenary talks, panel discussions, invited sessions, oral sessions and poster sessions etc. for academic exchanges. The conference papers will be published by IEEE[IEEE Catalog Numbers: XPLORE COMPLIANT Part Number: CFP1629X-ART; XPLORE COMPLIANT ISBN: 978-1-4673-8318-9(Xplore)/DVD Part Number: CFP1629X-DVD; DVD ISBN978-1-5090-0165-1], but according to the request of IEEE, only papers in English will be submitted to IEEE Conference Publication Operations. and cited by EI Compendex depending on the quality of paper, several best papers of them will be published in 《Chinese Journal of Aeronautics》(SCI-E index),《Science China Information Sciences》(SCI-E index).
