A fully-funded phd position is available at the electronic materials and processing laboratory / department of material science and chemical engineering, hanyang university (erica), ansan, south korea. research areas: 1.Chemical mechanical planarization and post-cmp cleaning processes 2. Slurry formulation for metal and oxide cmp 3. Nano-particle adhesion and removal 4. EUV mask and pellicle cleaning Required qualification: Ideal candidates should have an m.s. degree in materials science/ chemical engineering/ analytical chemistry/ nanoscience/ and other related fields. must have very good english proficiency in speech and writing. candidates should have prior knowledge of characterization techniques such as sem, xps, uv-vis, ftir, dls, afm, etc. highly motivated and enthusiastic candidates in interdisciplinary research with strong interpersonal skills are preferred. publication(s) in peer-reviewed journals are also preferred. documents required: * Motivation letter * Curriculum vitae * English/ korean proficiency test (if possible) * Contact information of at least two references how to apply: Interested candidates can email the following documents at sanjay@hanyang.ac.kr Note: the deadline for application is 15th august 2023 and will not be further extended. interested candidates are encouraged to apply within time.
