Master Program Vacancies
Starting time: January, May, or September 2022
Program: 2-year program in Mining Engineering at the University of Alberta
Funding: FULL funding: the supervisor will cover ALL tuition fees and living
stipends in the MSc program
Projects
Project #1: Sustainable cement-based materials for the mining industry
Project #2: Applying data science methods to the mining discipline
Academic Requirement
• Undergraduate GPA > 3.5 (or equivalent; > 85% of 100%
Weighted Average)
Targeted Discipline
Mining/Civil and OTHER relevant engineering disciplines. Some
applicants may feel unfamiliar with the project topics. This is NOT an
issue. Adequate training, courses, and responsible supervision will be
guaranteed to help students succeed in their MSc studies.
