The school of engineering has been the fastest-growing school in Macquarie University with the objective
of attracting high calibre researcher to meet the growing industry of technology and engineering.
The university campus is one of the largest in Australia, is home to offices of multinational companies including
3M, Cochlear, Fujitsu, Konica Minolta, Schneider, QAD, and is in the heart of the high-tech industrial area
Macquarie Park. It is easily accessible with its own Sydney metro station.
Associate professor Anita Ho-Baillie has been recognised as one of the world leaders in the field of
photovoltaics especially for her work in Si, tandem and perovskite solar cells.
She is looking for an excellent postdoc for exciting projects such as the
i) integration of solar cells for buildings
ii) sprayable and paintable solar cells and optoelectronic devices.
iii) use of perovskite materials for high-performance optoelectronic devices such as IR LEDs, UV
LEDs, nanowire lasers, memristors useful for telecommunications, sterilization, on-chip devices
and neural networks.
