one fully-funded postdoctoral positions are available in the inositol signaling group at niehs. this new opening is for an ongoing project that studies the unique cell-signaling properties of a topical subgroup of inositol phosphates that possess ‘high-energy' diphosphate groups - the inositol pyrophosphates. we are characterizing novel mechanisms by which inositol pyrophosphates both sense and regulate cellular bioenergetic status. this work has considerable relevance to cancer, immunity, inflammation and aging.  more details can be found from the group website:

we are looking for a candidate with proven credentials in one or more of the following techniques: structural biology or x-ray crystallography, protein chemistry, enzymology, chemical biology, cell biology, molecular biology.  the group is part of the signal transduction laboratory at niehs, which benefits from state of the art facilities, excellent core labs and outstanding funding. candidates should have received a ph.d. or m.d. degree within the past five years.
