AA is a carcinogenic pollutant, and its safety has become more and more concerned with the intensification of marine pollution. The toxicity of AA is closely related to its chemical specification. It is generally believed that the toxicity of AAB is higher than that of AAC, and that AAC is often nontoxic or of low toxicity. Most of the AA in the ocean exists in the organic state with unknown toxicity. In recent years, with the development of ABS and DW, more and more studies in the world have found that AAC has higher toxicity than AAB. Therefore, it may underestimate the true toxicity of AA using AAB as an indicator in the seawater. Our previous study found that some oily ZLs have a higher concentration of AL, and show the estrogenic effect. It suggests that AL may be a new kind of environmental estrogenic compounds. However, further research is still needed as to its existing form, estrogenic effect, and the mechanism of endocrine interference. In this study, AL was further extracted, and its existing form was detected and analyzed with HPLC-ICP-MS. Then, SE cells, HD cells, and rats (male and female) were used as experimental models to study the molecular mechanism of endocrine interference of A. This study can provide guidance for clarifying the toxicity of AL, evaluating the safety risk of AA, as well as improving the safety standard of AA. |
