[交流] 审了8个月的food chemistry还没有发消息,忍不住给编辑发邮件了 已有2人参与

我发的邮件:
Dear Editor Sian Astley:

I'm not sure if it is the right time to contact you to inquire about the status of my submitted manuscript. My manuscript

entitled “Development and validation of a multiclass method for the quantification of veterinary drug residues in honey

and royal jelly by liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry”(FOODCHEM-D-15-01789), has been submitted to your

journal on Apr 17, 2015. The status of "under review "for my manuscript has been lasting near 9 months.

I would be grateful if you could let me know any further information about my manuscript at your earliest convenience.

What information do you want beyond that which you have already obtained online?

Your paper was submitted on 11th April. It was passed to your editor on 18th May, following some amendments. It is normal for a 3-4 week delay between submission and allocation to an editor.

The editor invited reviewers on 18th May, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th June, 8th and 31st July, 15th and 30th August, 4th and 11th October, and 4th November. Several were invited on each occasion.

One review has been obtained but one is pending.

Your patience is appreciated. Just because a paper appears to be “stuck” doesn’t mean the editor isn’t actively engaged with it.

这么慢还觉得很正常
要不是因为已经投了8个月,就换杂志了
哪个杂志分配编辑要3-4weeks,
哪个杂志邀请审稿人要12次,只有一个给回复的

刚投了一个色谱A,四个月就出版了

差距啊
