Wiley-Interscience 2007 July 1177 pages $140.00 Hardcover TA1505 Saleh and Teich (both of the department of electrical and computer engineering, Boston U.) present the new edition of an introductory- level textbook on photonics that blends theory and applications. By selecting different combinations of chapters, instructors can use it for courses in optics and photonics, optical information processing, guided-wave optics, lasers, optoelectronics, photonic devices, and fiber optic applications.
