香港城市大学 招研究助理 in Neuroscience/Neural Engineering

One opening for Research Assistant in Lab for Neural Engineering at the Department of Mechanical and Biomedical Engineering in City University of Hong Kong. http://personal.cityu.edu.hk/~chungtin/ We are interested in the study of motor learning and development of brain-machine interface by the combination of in vivo electrophysiology and optogenetics. Requirements A Master’s degree/good honours degree in Biomedical Engineering/ Neuroscience/Biomedical Science or related disciplines, with experience in animal handling (rodents), intracranial microinjection, histology and immunohistochemistry. Good command of written and spoken English, and ability to work independently and in a team are required. Experience in in vivo electrophysiology and optogenetic would be an advantage. Salary offered will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits include leave, medical and dental consultations at the campus clinic. | Hi, everryone. Do not be the prey and fooled by Dr. Chung TIN. He promised me to accept me last November, but he rejected without any notice. I had succesfully gone through three successive interviews and submitted all the required PhD application materials on the application account at CityU, but the application condition has still been in the state of under review without any update. Fuck! |

| So far, I have still not received any formal official PhD application result, even if a declined offer, from my application account at CityU. Even a candidate, who was interviewed this April by a supervisor at the Department of Mechanical and Biomedical Engineering, received the conditional PhD offer on May 11, 2015. Fuck Dr. Chung TIN of the Department of Mechanical and Biomedical Engineering, City University of HK. |
